going back in time - 06-24-2008, 05:10 PM


last week i made a road trip to where i grew up. the man i went to work for when i was 13 years old passed away. it was really sad for me to see the town slowly going away as if cancer was eating it from the inside out-not really much point to this post other than to let me whine. thanks for letting me. first one is whats left of the store i bought my first athletic supporter at10 years old from a very grouchy old lady(now i know why my dad would not do it for me!) the second is the ice house from the store where we traded soda bottles we collected for RC colas and moon pies. thanks again....

the remains of Hempstead-just west of Houston on 290. there are a lot of photo ops around town. growing up there i guess a lot of them are interesting to me because of the memories
