No more than a week after I quit my job, my car has died, my washer machine also decided to join the party, and my b/f's car (my backup car) a/c is throwing a fit and won't turn on, but he needs it for work which means I am out of a car. I have two wedding consultations tomorrow and at the moment I have no idea how I am going to get to them. Why does this always happen? It never fails.

I let my brother borrow my car, because he was in a really bad wreck recently and totaled his vehicle. And since my b/f was out of town on business I just drove his. So my brother called me today and said that the car was over heating and rattling and got so hot that it turned off on him in the middle of the street. He was able to get it to a park-n-ride so that it can be taken to my grandpa's later. Its a ford mustang and my grandpa is a good mechanic so the good news is I can buy the parts at the nearest auto store and not have to pay for labor.

My b/f and I have been meaning to buy a new car anyways since both of our cars have been around since high school. So I guess I have no choice now.

I just find this hilarious since, because I should of saw this coming with me just quitting my job.

'97 and my b/f's car is a '94 3000Gt, so they are pretty old cars. Yeah, the timing does suck, but I should of saw this coming. What really sucks is being forced to buy a car and pay car payments. It was nice not having car payments.

If your car got so hot that the engine died, it may have seized up. For your sake, I sure hope not.

It could be a bad water pump or a leaking radiator. Either one would cause the overheating.
