Monopod Questions

Has anyone owned/used any of these monopods?

_Canon Monopod 100 4-Section Monopod with Mini-Ballhead

_Giottos MV-8250 3-Section Monopod with Pan-Tilt Head

_Velbon RUP-43 5-Section Unipod with Ballhead

_Vista Trailblazer Monopod

_JTL Aluminum Monopod with Adjustable Head & Case

_Adorama Pro-Action Monpod



For use with a Canon Powershot A 650IS camera, do any of these monopods have an advantage over the others?

Also, except for the JTL brand, none of the above come with a carrying case to use when traveling---would you purchase a padded tripod case or a tripod case that is not padded, but it has a padded shoulder strap?

Please do advise.
