Anyone know an INEXPENSIVE family law attorney?

My ex wife has moved to FLorida. She has left my son here with me in TX. Excellent! I am so happy to have my son full time. The only problem I have is that she never went to court to change any custody or support orders.

Legally we have joint custody, however, she was granted the right to establish residence for my son. She has now voluntarily given me that right, but I need to get that finalized in court and also need to stop paying her child support.

This is all uncontested and should be what I consider an easy modification. I am just looking for an inexpensive lawyer to assist me, and or file the proper paperwork.

Does anyone have a referral for me? I am even willing to file the paperwork myself if I can get it drafted properly. I'd really like to not have to shell out a ton of cash for an uncontested modification.

Have you checked into UH law school to see if they have a clinic for that sort of thing? You might be able to get it done by a student and checked by faculty for a good rate as part of a teaching exercise.
