Question A few more questions - 07-06-2008, 10:05 PM

Hi! Please bear with me as I ask a few more questions.

Q1. In using my Powerex charger, on break-in mode, it takes 2 days to complete for 2500 mAh batteries. If I were to put 2500 mAh batteries in the Powerex charger & use the refresh and analyze mode, how long will it take to finish? Is it longer or shorter in time than using the break-in mode?

Q2. I believe Alan or someone mentioned when using older batteries and used the break-in mode on the charger to find their true mAh reading for each battery, then grouped the batteries by closer mAh ratings for using together. That is fine when you only use one brand of batteries, like Powerex. In one set of 4 batteries (supposed to be 2500mAh) that finished today, one of the 4 was rated 1400+ mAh and the rest were 1800+ & 1700+ mAh. I have other batteries (supposed to be 2500mAh) that rated
1400+ mAh when finished the break-in mode. My QUESTION is: If the (supposed to be 2500mAh) batteries but now rate 1400+ mAh are 2 different company (or brands) of AA batteries, should I use the 2 brands together so that all batteries are 1400 in 1 set or should I still keep the same brand of batteries together as a set?

Q3. I received 4 AA-2600 mAh and 4 AAA-1000 mAh La Crosse Tech batteries that came in the box with my La Crosse charger. Is this La Crosse Tech brand of battery also good to use?---Like Powerex? or are they not as good as Powerex?

Just curious---What kind of equipment do y'all use that uses AAA batteries??

Please advise. Thank you!!
