Not amusing. In the states I'd expect that to be an open and shut case of assault.

Apparently he was stepping on some of his gear, but all he had to do was ask him to watch his feet.

Photogs like this one give the rest of us a bad name. The Brit pap's have to be the worst.
Hint: Give the subject a little breathing room and never, ever touch a driver's gear.
Just a thought.

My 2 cents - a bit of an overreaction by the driver and the photographer was standing over the driver's equipment, he could have been alittle more careful.

Guess the photographer will remember next time to not be 6 inches from the drivers face, standing over his gear while he is trying to get ready. Besides, you should never stand with your feet shoulder width apart parallel to each other. Easy to lose your balance!

Kimi has always been a little bit of a hothead when it comes to people getting too close. I think most of the folks in F1 know not to get to close, especially if he is having a bad day. Still, he should not have done it. He'll probably get fined by the FIA, and roasted in the press. And then life will move on....

Ah...
A well known French F1 photographer was taking pictures of reigning F1 world champion Kimi Raikkonen, just before the start of yesterday's British Grand prix. Apparently the photographer got a little too close for Kimi's comfort, and possibly even stepped on some of Kimi's equipment, as he was trying to get suited up for the race. So Kimi shoved the photographer (who was crouching down, low to the ground) and the photographer fell on his backside. He did not appear to be hurt (physically) in any way.
I suspect both Kimi and the photographer got over this event about 30 seconds after it happened, and it is now only of concern to the press and Kimi's manager. The Photographer has been around F1 a long time, and I doubt he is going to bite the hand that feeds him, by getting into a legal pissing contest with a very popular driver.
Here is a link about the incident. http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headline...07144201.shtml
