This article prompted a question:
What photo do you post to your editor, or select for your magazine, that tells the impending story? I vividly recall iconic images from VE and VJ. When that war started, we had images of Pearl Harbor, too. When this one started, we share images of the towers.
Keep the politics out of it, but what image would you suggest be captured by our profession with which the public may capture the moment? There will be no official surrender, as there is no USS Missouri and may be no Times Square Swoop & Kiss. Just how would you strive to be immortalized for taking that one shot?
We have many from the military and all other walks of life and political leanings here at TPF, so please remember to keep this thread about the photo you would seek, and not about the politics. Thanks in advance. If you think you have such a phot, please feel free to post it with the same cautions in mind.
BTW: I can't thank enough, the men and women who serve this country every day to protect, serve, and defend us.
