Finally Homeless!!

Thanks to all who listened to me :D
We finally closed and everything is finalized on the house.
It will be so nice this time around when the Navy says we get to go such and such to give a 30 day notice, have our crap packed and be on our way :D

That said the move hasn't been great. Several boxes were lost, Many items broken, but hopefully the company will make it all right.

Any way just had to share the excitement.

Congrats on finally selling the house.

Sorry to hear about the missing boxes and broken stuff though. One of my friends from high school has a husband in the USMC and the first time the military moved them she thinks that she may have had her boxes labeled a little too good because his grandma's antique china they had been given as a wedding present some how didn't make it from one station to the next.

gotta love those movers. when our stuff arrived in Hawaii some boxes didnt make it and my wedding champaign glasses (discontinued by Disney) were broken. When we went to AZ things went preety well, even after pissing off the movers. When we got here a lot of tings were missing. the one that made me mad the most were my tiki torches from pier 1.

but congrats on selling the house. I havent been around for a while, how did buying the new house go? or has that went yet?

As for the movers this has been the worst ever. We always have a few things broken etc... but nothing like this one, and the more we look the more we find broken kwim?

Cilly as for the new house, thankfully we got base housing here, same size as the house in TX only draw back is the floorplan and a TINY yard, but hey pools and trampolines aren't allowed so no biggie lol. As for the floor plan they made the dinning and den together which kind of sucks, BUT it gives me a place to shoot :D So I won't complain too much lol.
So far we like it, one neighbor, (the one actually attached seems a bit difficult, her dh is nice though) but other than that all is ok.
