Ok. I am old. So...Anyone else going to see Journey?

I am pretty pumped up about seeing Journey tomorrow night here in Dallas. We have 7th row center tickets.

Journey with their newest lead singer sound great and rejuvenated.
If you haven't heard them lately, you should. They found the singer from the Philippines via YouTube.

Anyway, I have seen them and the other two acts (Heart and Cheap Trick) a few times in past and all three bands always put on a good show. Just wondered if anyone else might be going.

Bah thats not old... But then again you could say I am in my 20s, but just barely. 22 heh :)

I used to drive around with my cousin in High School. She always had Journey playing. Have fun. And you're not old until you cant remember the name of the band you liked in High School. lol. ;o)

Yeah, I got my business partner and his wife a suite at AA Center for Van Halen when they came to Dallas...He said it was the best show he had ever seen. I should have gone!!

Yes you should have. It was quite good... Scripted a little bit too much for my taste, but it was still quite good. It was Eddie's B-Day and his son and DLR sang happy b-day to him.. That was about the only unscripted part...

I just wish I got to see more bands at Nokia... That is such a killer venue for concerts... I have seen Dream Theater, Heart and Journey (previous singer)...and all 3 times, the sound was incredible. SO MUCH BETTER than any other local mid-large venue.

Shelby - I'll tell him...We have been discussing the whole "Happy" thing with his g-friend off and on for months too..

I saw them while I was 7 months preggers with the twins... and we were trying to get tickets to see them last night but they were sold out 2 weeks ago for the show at the woodlands pavillion!!! :( we were bumed

Ya know, they just can't seat as many people at a Journey concert as they used to. They have to make room for all those walkers, canes, etc. I hear that the floor seats come with complimentary oxygen.

Seriously, I wish I were going. I loved Journey back in the day but never had a chance to go see them. I've heard that their new lead singer is supposed to look and sound like Steve Perry. You taking your camera?
