I've had to spend some time at Hermann Hospital for the last few nights. It's pretty quiet up here and I started looking at the photographs hanging in the lobby. I found this interesting picture of a door and checked the artist's name.

I knew Leslie shot some PJ work and does some amazing portrait and wedding work, but I had no idea at the time that she'd sold work to corporate customers. I even thought it might be another Leslie Spurlock, but then I checked her website and it's all right there.

I'd always thought it'd be cool to have one of my shots on the wall, somewhere, so it was neat to see the work of someone from TPF there.

So, Leslie, here it is, in the waiting room of the NTICU...

Hahaha, that is too funny! I have several images there and over in the professional building. Some of my better ones were in Kelsey Siebold and Compaq's headquarters, but I think they rotate out. This display is a permanent one of Texas artists. I think the ones in the professional building are better. Yeah, I had a brief stint as a landscape/travel photographer.

Wes, I had an art rep that sold my work to major corporations. She only took on certain artists, including Galen Rowell. If you can get it, this type of thing actually makes more money sometimes than weddings. I think the different companies bought the images for around $600 a piece, which, at the time, when you sell around 13 to one company, is a decent amount of money, and a lot less work! LOL!
