Categories

Steam Locomotive: Steam locomotives on static display or in modern operations as the primary subject.
Passenger Trains: Passenger cars or trains as the primary subject
Buildings and Structures: Depots, towers, bridges, signals, etc. as the primary subject
Diesel or Electric Locomotive: Diesel or electric locomotives as the primary subject.
People: Railroad employees, passengers, and enthusiasts as the primary subject
Special Category: Foreign Railroads. Any original historic or modern photograph taken of railroads outside the United States.

Sixth Annual Photography Contest Rules:

Photos must be your original work, be mounted on black matt board and be no larger than 8”x 10” and no smaller than 4 x 6”. No framed submissions and no slides, please. A completed entry form and registration fee of $2 per submission for non-museum members is required. The registration fee is waived for members. The Museum will handle entries with all due care but may not be held liable for any damaged submissions. Mailed submissions should include return postage.

All entries should be received via mail or hand delivery at the Museum no later than Thursday, September 11, 2008.
