camera store in College Station/Bryan

I am going to the Bryan/College Station area soon and wondered if anyone knows of a decent camera store there. I am looking for a pocket camera (new thread made yesterday). All that comes up on the web are the street light cameras. Ha.

You'll have to drive for it, but Houston Camera Exchange (HCE) is probably your best bet.

There's a Ritz Camera on Texas Ave in a shopping mall... it might have what you are looking for.


I always went to HCE for camera gear when I was at A&M... it was a bit of a drive, but worth it.

I am closer to Houston and I have been to HCE a few times, but wer'e going to Aggie town this week. Some of those camera stores tend to talk down to me snobishly thinking that all I want are pixels in a camera. I can get that kind of service from a New York web based company at a lower price.

You will pay more at Ritz/Wolfe Camera, I guarantee it. I *never* shop there.

the only item I ever bought there was a tripod and I hardly ever use it. I bought my monfroto monopod from HCE.
