and while not my favorite by any stretch, it is what makes the games so dynamic... I'm talking about the heartbreaker with Huff finishing second. She swam such a good race and found herself on the wrong side of the photo finish --------------------------- Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself! |

And that's not been the only one.. the women's sculling team was beaten by just a few hundreths of a second... to come in 4th. And the synchronized diving women just missed bronze as well. Personally, I like the less popular Olympic sports.. I can sit and watch all the water polo games.. team volleyball.. beach volleyball (although that's become way more popular since Sydney thanks to Misty and Kari)... catching those sports can be a challenge. |

I've always loved Beach and Indoor Volleyball (guess that's what happens when you play for so many years), but watching the US Men in the 4x100 last night was great. The raw emotion felt when they saw they won was wonderful. And Lezak was just...wow, no words can describe that swim. |

Okay, I have one no one has mentioned yet. Shown tonight, (8/11) Synchronized Diving competition, in the second round of dives---the team from China received from 5 judges, a perfect score of 10 for synchronization! They were that good on that particular dive. I said WOW! when I saw it performed, BEFORE I saw the scores. CarolynM |
