20lbs down in 6 weeks :D - 08-14-2008, 01:15 PM

yay I strated a new way of life On July 4th as I seriously needed to loose weight and wanted to do it the healthy weight... I contacted a coach (dietician) and he has been monitoring me since July 4th he measures me every week and weighs me as well... he calls and text me several times a day to check on me and help me out when I struggle... it has been a blessing and even better my husband heard him at the first meeting we had and decided to do this with me.. he is down 18 lbs..
I have been working out a lot... and eating very healthy.. staying away from carbs.. had not had even 1 slice of pizza, hamburger, fries,chips,cereal,icecream.. not junk food at all and is getting easier :)
I have noticed mny stamina is getting much better and I am starting to see muscles in my arms and legs lmao last night I wa sable to ride the bike program in a heely cycle for 8 miles at gym.. I left a puddle of sweat on the floor but I know I would not have been able to do it 6 weeks ago lol anyhow just wanted to share my exciting news :D I have at least 70lbs to loose but I am on my way :)
I get measured tomorrow night so I should know how many inches I have lost :)

Stay with it Loanna. You are showing the fruits of your labor. The new hair do is a nice addition as well.

That's great!
Just curious, how does that work? Do you contract him on a monthly basis? Weekly? Or is it a longer term contract? Does he just suggest a diet or did he give you a menu of some sort? Did he prescribe you some sort of workout routine as well? Where did you find him? Is he expensive?
Sorry for all the questions, but I've always wondered about doing something like this...
Thanks for any insight you can provide!
Congrats on your progress!

Robert, I am a probono case but he will start selling the program and he coaches you every step of the way. He changes your routine per case depending on how much you need to loose and how your metabolism is acting up.. he changes your eating habits often too...it just all depends on case per case how he will suggest you workout and eat... I will pm you his info :)

Congratulations!! Stick with it as it's so easy to slip. I know... I've taken a break from the gym to concentrate on my final summer semester of school for a bit, and I've quickly gained the weight I lost the three months prior to that.

When you reach your goal, you'll need to post some "before" and "after" pictures to encourage others. :-)

oh man that sucks Ricky.. this has been hard but at the same time fun.. I suffered from an ED about 10 years ago.. anorexia and bulimia and well after 3 years of therapy and lots of depression with the help of my family and hubby I got thru it and you normally would not be able to tell I had that as I am obviously now overweight.. so is nice to be able to do this the right way.. I haven;t had an ED episode in about 6 months and I will try to wean myself from depression meds slowly if doctor allow me as I reach my goal weight :)
Will definitely post pics when i get there John :) in fact Leslie is going to be taking some of my pics in november for a trash the dress session in Dallas :) so i have to loose a whole lot of weight by than lol
