www.simplifymedia.com

Download the desktop software and go to the app store and download the same on your iphone. Sign up for your free account and BAM! You can now listen to your itunes or up to 30 of your friends itune libraries anywhere you can pick up the ATT signal.

I'm listening to my brother's itunes right now. So badass!

Yeah it is. And to clarify, it's your itunes library on your computer, not your phone.
So you can access your own home library (or friends') from work, bus, starbucks, wherever. Just have to make sure your computer is on.

I have no idea how that stuff works, but you are only letting people that you personally invite into your music collection. It's not like the other music sharing networks that anyone can access. Mayyyybe if the simplemedia servers were hacked there might be a way to come in through the back end? I have no idea.

I have an iPhone and have no desire to install something on my computer that easily allows others to access it. It's only so long before someone cracks the encryption/programing of that app to figure out how to gain access to host computers whether they were given permission or not.

So you don't have your PC connected to the internet? It's only so long before someone hacks into anything. Remember when that 15 yr old figured out how to access 1st gen iphones remotely? It's only a matter of time before it happens to the new ones.

I can get into WEP networks in less then 5 minutes. Still working on WAP.

Looks like a cool app though. I'm on the fence about an iphone. Really want one, but don't want to spend the money.
