I was flipping through the pages of Sept. 1 Forbes and started to notice a trend. First I was looking at the
article on Alabama coach Nick Saban and it had a very familiar LucisArt look to it. I noticed it was shot by
Dave Hill who uses that style in just about all his images so that made sense, but then I noticed that other photos in the magazine had a similar high contrast, LucisArt, look and began to wonder. Is this a fad across the publishing industry or just a Forbes photo editor that liked the look and thought they'd use it on a few more images?
I like the look but anything can be overdone and was just wondering if I'm the only one that noticed it. Great shots in the Saban article by the way.
