Laser Engraved ! - 08-19-2008, 02:00 PM

playing around and used my laser to engrave some photos into granite and marble... sorry pictures stink, will try and take some better ones later with my real camera.

The granite looks "cooler" in my opinion because of the grainy look. But the marble is alot smoother and looks almost like a real bw photo.... this is on a 12x12....

Cool - laser!

How did you get a laser that can do that?

And will you offer that as a service to us TPFers?

I have a Universal PLS3.60 laser. Its designed and made specially for this type of thing. Of course I would be more than happy to do something like this for anyone interested. Photos work real well on marble, granite, wood, acrylic, etc...

i need to get you guys some better pictures, this one looks horrible
