anyone know about Rx Lyrica?

due to several surgeries and the resulting nerve damage i have been taking Lyrica for about the last month. after i got over the "beam me aboard Scotty" feeling of the first couple of days it seems to help some but if i forget to take it i feel like i could bite the heads off of live chickens. the doc has the standard just don't forget to take it and everything will be juuussstt fiinne answer that i have really really learned to dislike. anyone have any experience with this stuff? i hate taking things like this but so far nothing else has helped.

The doc gave that to my hubby after his shoulder surgery. I keep asking him if he thinks it is helping him any, but he doesn't really know either. I wished I would have had something like it after my foot surgery. I think it might have helped take the edge off those really bad "nerve" days.

I'm on it right now, along with valium, percocet and norco for pain. Beam me up scotty is right.

But, I take it 3 times a day, 100mg each. It seems to work for me, but I'd check with the dr first because when I was on the 150mg it sent me to sleep and made me really drowsy, but the 100's don't seem to have the same effect.
