i wish they would really test the cameras. I'm tired of flowers, ducks and grass.

Same here. Those images look like they could have been shot with any camera.

I think I'm going to switch to the 50D + 5DMkII combination... from the D300. I was going to buy a D700 this week but the video option on the 5D is just too sweet to pass up. The 50D can't do what the D300 can but it's close enough for me. Now I've just got to unload the rest of my Nikon gear.

Wil, you're such a gear whore. You'll be back shooting Nikon in a couple years when they make another quantum leap over Canon.

I do know what you mean about the 5D2 though...that thing looks great. Anyone want to buy a lightly used 1D Mark II?

John: True enough (LOL). I've actually sold pretty much everything recently. I've only got 4 or 5 lenses left and one body... so I've got to make a decision very quickly because I've got work to do and don't want to waste money on rentals.
