Well i've done it. Sold my d80 and my 18-200 vr. Now i have NOTHING to take pictures with. Well, that is until my d700 comes in on FRIDAY!!!

I expect to take 300x's better pictures now. Better composition, better colors, even expect better self portraits.

Sigh, I finally played with one yesterday.... Holy HELL what a nice camera! I want one B A D. Only wish I had something worthy to sell to afford it! Congrats Grant, I can only imagine how excited you must be!

Grant, doing the math the 700 is only 8.75 times better than the 80

Congrats! Time to update the sig.

BTW - Understand that the images that come out will only be as good as you can make them. For example, the camera won't matter at all when it comes to composition. That's up to you. If you were just mediocre with the D80 then you'll just be mediocre with a more expensive camera. It's just a tool, albeit a very nice one. One things for sure - you'll be exposed to a whole new world of low light photography that you could never dream of with the D80.

Oh crud, I heard the new 50d actually composes for you. Maybe i should have sold all my nikon gear for a 50d!
