Save the date.... for my OWN wedding~!

Aaron and I finally decided on a place and date to get married!

June 27th, 2009 at Pipestem State Park in Southern West Virginia.

I made one of those corny wedding websites www.aaronmelinda.com if you want to see about the event.

And HERE are some of the photos I took last summer when we were up there.

As tempting as having the wedding here and let it be an open call for all photographers portfolios was.... (yes - I did actually think about it...lol) We decided to have it in conjunction with his family reunion up there.

But if anybody wants to volunteer to go up and shoot with us - just for fun and for free... you are welcome to join us. Since we are getting married at creekside - I'm tempted to jump in the water right after and do a TTD..

Oh... I love West Virginia! It's a beautiful state (but they need to widen the roads). If I was a wedding shooter I might consider it Congratulations!

You have no idea how tempting that offer is. I just wish WV was not so far away! We do Bridge Day every year and I just dread the distance. But I have always wanted to put a bride and groom at Sandstone Falls!

I just looked that up and it's right up the road in Hinton... We may have to make our way over there for some photos...

SWEET!

I'm so excited you moved to right where I can use you as my photographer!!!! And I am serious about wanting to do a TTD there. Depending on what I decide to were for the wedding - we may be able to do a different dress the day before.

And even if you have to bring the kids - there is stuff at the park to keep them busy while we shoot.

I will know more about the kids closer to time. If dh is back then he can keep them, if not hopefully I can pawn them off :P
