Helping a family from NOLA

A friend of mine visited New Orleans a few weeks before the hurricane and took some great photographs. As a way of helping her friend's parents who were displaced from their home because of the storm she is selling prints and sending 100% of the proceeds to her friend to help pay for extra supplies. Here's her description of what she is doing:

As you might know, my best friend's family has been greatly affected by Hurricane Katrina. While her parents and grandmother were able to evacuate before the storm, their home in Saint Bernard Parish has been surrounded by water for over a week. This means that there are now four people staying at her one bedroom apartment, living only on her wages, for at least a few months -- possibly longer.

Being 400 miles away, I can't offer a spare bed or cooked meals; however, I can sell prints of the pictures I took in New Orleans last month and send her the profits in the form of gift certificates to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. If you are interested in purchasing a picture, please visit my website at http://home.austin.rr.com/katedahl/photo.html to view the selection of available photos, available in 4x6 ($5), 5x7 ($10), and 8x10 ($15). Due to the proportions, some pictures are not available in all sizes.
