We just saw the neatest thing! On the last few over passes on I-45 N. about exits 168-171 there were fire trucks and firemen with the lights flashing and flying flags. The last one had a couple of guys on the firetruck waving a huge flag that was lit up with a spot light, wow! was it beautiful! I'm glad we left when we did or we would have missed this awesome display.

Wow, that is cool! Wish I had seen it.

I was wondering what you guys were gonna do since your backyard photos are right on the water...

Stay safe! Hopefully all will be okay when you return.

Patti

Yes Roy, it did bring tears to my eyes. Thanks for thinking about us Patti, we are in Flower Mound with Barry's brother. Our oldest grandson came with us and our children choose to stay but they live in the interior of Baytown, and have 2 story homes. I wish the cameras weren't the first thing we packed because that put them at the bottom of everything so we didn't get any pictures.

Our son's were just "shopping" for groceries at our house and emailed me a picture of the water, I'll post it on another thread.-Dora

It's the Ferris Fire Department you saw last night. They have done this every year since "9/11". We were on our way home from a shoot last night and caught them right before they left. My husband was talking to one of the firemen while I shot and he said sometimes people will pull off the highway and talk to them, sometimes crying.
