You are in our Prayers for a Speedy Recovery from the storms aftermath. Keep the Faith, and Best Wishes Be With You! Sunshine always follows the rain.

Sadly, I expect the forum traffic will most likely be much diminished for a while, because many of you will be without the power of internet communication.

I live in Dickinson about 5 blocks from a major bayou that feeds directly off of Galveston Bay. I'm in SATX right now but should be going home tomorrow. I've gotten reports from friends and I know that my house and my gf's/parents house is not underwater or damaged... Thank God.

My wife and I are currently "vacationing" in Austin. I got a video message (poor quality, but more info than I had) of my house from my neighbor and I lost a couple of sections of fence and some limbs off of my ash tree in the backyard, but I think I made out pretty good (depending on where the limbs landed exactly....). I will know more when my other neighbor goes down to check things out tomorrow. As long as my house is weather tight, I will hang out where there is power

I am in Katy, west of Houston and we lost power for a few minutes last night but have power, water, cable and internet now :)

We were all at my mother's house close to Fry & I10 and she lost power so we all came here. We have a fence down (neighbors fence) that hit a small window but nothing else....we were very lucky. On the short trip from moms to here we saw numerous trees and debris everywhere.
