How long does it take Mpex to send out an order? - 09-17-2008, 09:29 PM

I'd like to know if anyone has had experience buying from Mpex before. I purchased something Sunday evening and received an email Tuesday night informing me that the items I had purchased are back-ordered.

I wish I had known that before the purchase. Since it won't be here for this weekend's shoot, I'd like to choose standard shipping and save money

I heard about them through Strobist.com

I tried Mpix for the first time a couple weeks ago. I had heard good thing but I had a really bad experience. I'm pretty sure I won't be wasting my time again. At least not on prints.

Mpix is the Consumer end of Millers Professional Imaging. One of the top, most respected labs in the business. I would certainly be interested in hearing what they did or didn't do that was a bad experience. I can almost guarantee they will do whatever it takes to make it right as well.

I'll send you a PM, I've heard such good things about them I'd hate to bash them over my misfortune. They did refund my money. ...So they did make it right.

I ordered one large print from them in the past. The order was processed quickly and I had my print in about 3 or 4 days with only normal shipping charges. I was very satisfied.
