John, thanks. I was at 2016 Main today and planned to take Louisiana Street to I-10, but several blocks are still blocked off by HPD. I saw a large man lift in the distance. I guess they are replacing windows. |

My heart goes out to the people directly affected by Ike. Such devistation. The photos speak a voume of words it reminds me of when I lived in Erie PA which was tornado country. Saw the power of nature there, not something I would want to go through again. |

that was a great link - thanks for sharing. those of us that still dont' have cable (we do have power and internet though) missed all the reporting and damage the first few days. this is just so sad... |
