I need to know of some beautiful places to take photos in Dallas/Garland/Richardson/Plano... anywhere. I am getting married and my sister said she will take my engagement and bridal photos for me. However, I do not know where to go besides the botanical gardens. Also, I would love an indoor location too that was pretty with a stair case or something. The church that we are getting married at is not a very pretty one so that takes care of that idea. I have a small budget and she was willing to work for free. I figured I should jump at the chance!

Please help with location advise!

Someone point her here: http://www.elcheapophotography.com/2...hey-could.html

It's not someone trying to swindle her, of course, but the guy does a good job of showing why photographers are worth the money, specifically the ""But I can't afford $2500+" section.

My family is coming in this Christmas (10 of them)...and I need a good photographer to take portraits of us together. My place or yours. We will have 8 adults, one teenager, and one one year old. I am on a tight budget for this...so please don't contact me if you are going to charge me $10 perperson sitting fee or anything like that. Thank you:)

If you can't even pay $80 dollars for family portraits, then I suggest you go to WalMart, that's probably the only thing in your budget.

If you want quality, you have to pay for it. Just how it is.

I've been having fun on CL lately...

This one is a gem.

We are looking for a photographer to take pictures of 50 houses that we have done work on. They will be outside shots all in close vicinity. We will want print & web quality digital photos provided on disk at the end. Must have your own camera.

Send samples of your work and your contact information.
My response:

Quote:
Hi... so you want $2 a house? How many pictures per house?

Are you going to include gas money as well? Or is that included in the $100?

Thanks
