Ok, who here shot the polaroids at the Mencia concert?

Whoever you are that was a sweet gig.

Here we go. We got in line; about 40-50 spots back. Got to the end of the line. $25 for three with Carlos. I decided not to, however my wife and a co worker did.

I took another drink from my very expensive Bud Light Tallboy and started doing the math. I was about 40-50 people back; well into the picture taking. When we got done I looked at the line again and noticed the line was even longer. About 100-200 people in line. Also after the show he did it again. Now this line was even longer than before the show.

So "guesstimates" about 250-500 polaroids at $25 dollars a pop. Around $6250 - $12500 for the night. Polaroids..

Not bad for several hours worth of work... I don't know how much Polaroid cartridges cost now; or how much the photographer gets for the assignment; but still, you got to admit, that's a sweet gig..

Amazing they were using a Polaroid as the film is so expensive now. A good dye sub would have pushed them out pretty fast and much nicer quailty for about 1/2 the cost per print. Sounds like and easy gig though. Congrats to someone!

Wow that is a lot of money for a picture of someone that steals others work.

polaroid 600 costs about $1.50 per shot. X 3 = $4.50. Camera cost is negligable over this many photos.

margin per customer is $20. Not a bad concept, and each shot is a keeper.
