Not new news - but exciting news that I haven't shared! - 09-24-2008, 09:57 PM

I haven't shared yet that I am expecting my first child!! We are due on February 6th and found out this past week that it will be another little girl! I have 2 step-daughters already so apparently my husband don't make boys! Someone asked if we would try again for a boy. I'm not sure I want to take that chance, lol.

Her name will be Ailey Grace (pronounced eye-lee) and we are so excited we just can't stand it!! It's a good thing I lost 40 pounds before I got pregnant because I just keep growing! I guess it will all be worth it in the end when I get to hold her in my arms.

Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement!

Congratulations.

We have two boys, and people asked us if we were going to "try for a girl." Nope! Our niece is drama enough for us! :-)

Yeah, girls are very dramatic but my husband said he prefers girls. I'm not sure what's wrong with him!! lol Either way, as long as it is healthy, I didn't care what it was. I'm just looking forward to her getting here now. Of course, I have A LOT to do to get ready for her arrival!!

Thanks everyone!

We're expecting our first in mid-February, but due to the schedule of the ultrasounds, we've got a couple more weeks before we know what it will be.

We've decided to hold off on names until then, since my wife already vetoed unisex names like "Winchester Carbine" or "Tax Deduction."

That's funny, Joe. But a baby born in February isn't as good a tax deduction as one born in December (like both my boys). We got to write them off for the entire year even though they'd just been born.

Yeah, my doctor walked in the door and made the comment that my husband is good at making girls!! I am still have dreams that it's a boy but she said the bone structure around the reproductive parts are definitely a girl.

AND YES - ANOTHER DRAMA QUEEN IF SHE IS ANYTHING LIKE HER SISTERS! My step-daughters are 9 & 10 and OMG they are dramatic.
