Looking for photo exhibit at state fair - 09-25-2008, 07:39 PM

Many years ago I remember seeing a large exhibit of photographs at the state fair. Some had won contests; seemed like they were by amateurs. I have not been able to find this exhibit in several years. I've looked at the state fair websit and map, but I can't find anything on it. Does anyone know anything about it? I'm sorry if the information is vague, I'm tired and I've lost my words tonight.

Does anyone know if amateur photos are still displayed? If so, do you know where I can find it? Any info would be helpful.

Thanks,
Tonya

Its in the Creative Arts building... big contest, but only open to amateurs. (They specifically define amateur as anyone who made less than $1000 in the last year from photography.)
