you'll need to be creative, patient, have a basic understanding of mechanics, some geometry and a bit of physics will help too...and have a lot of time since once you get going, you'll have a hard time stopping. I'm finally off after 3 hours.....

some help: (i feel duty-bound...)

1) triangles are your friends. to keep things stiff, make triangles
2) water sticks are wierd and wonderful, they are stiff yet things can go right thru them.
3) more wheels= more power
4) not everything needs to be stiff, sometimes floppy works better (don't EVEN go there...)
5) a stick laying flat on top of wheels moves twice as fast as the wheels; and twice as far.

there are thousands of correct solutions
there are billions of incorrect solutions....

I get that you have to catapult it somehow, but it's such a small space to work in.

the space is the issue I keep running into. I've tried accordian style extensions as well. I need a wheel that is sticky.....
