Donations for our soldiers`

On Oct. 11th I'll be competing in a 3-gun match to benefit some of our soldiers overseas. For those of you who do not know, a 3-gun match is a shooting competition for rifle, pistol and shotgun. All money collected for the match goes to purchasing personal equipment that the guys cannot get in-country.

I know personally the people organizing the event and when they say that "all money goes to the soldiers," it's a fact. Facilities, prizes, equipment, personnel and whatever else required to run the match is all being donated so there are NO expenses coming off the top. In the past they've taken up collections to buy equipment like Surefire lights, batteries, multi-tools, work gloves, and other stuff that they can't find either in sufficient quantities or at all. This time they decided to organize a charity shoot to raise the money.

I've already made the $100 minimum contribution required to sign up but it occurred to me that other folks might want to help make that contribution larger. For those who'd like to do so, I've put up a donation page to make things simple. Any money donated through me will be added to my contribution.
