It's $3.09 for unleaded here in New Braunfels today. I filled up on Saturday and it's dropped 20 cents since then.

Yup. Nice to see. The cheapest that I've seen here in DFW is $3.35. Kind of sad when you think that's a good deal.

holy crap it is below $3 there :(
We finally dropped to $3.24. I hope it keeps going down. We have to head to NC Friday and we know once we cross the state line we better have filled the tank up cause NC atleast along 85 and 95 are out of gas 90% of the time. And where we are going they only have 6 gas stations in the whole county and they can't keep gas either. I am so dreading this trip lol. But it is so dh can see his family before he leaves.

saw that oil was finally at aboit 90 a barrel...until gas drops below the 2.50 mark though it hasn't recovered from the bs speculators that screwed us right up to 4 bucks a gallon to begin with.

Still 3.44 in Stephenville but with TSU in session, we always have higher prices and long waits at resturants.....

And they will raise the price on Thursday night to nail all those going home or out of town for the weekend.

I have a 54 mile round trip trek to work every day so this is like getting a small pay raise.

Cheapest I've seen in the Dallas area is $3.25 at a Walmart.

How long will it last?

I had just filled up the old I-6 4.0L for $3.35/gal. One of the 4.6L V8s runs on regular but the other runs on the top stuff. Fortunately I have been using the 953cc more, and even though it takes premium, the most I could ever put in it is 4 gal and it pulled 40MPG this last tank.

Donald Trump was interviewed and said it was going to go down to $25 a barrel. Now, that would be interesting. Personally I think it would take a miracle, but I wouldn't mind seeing this kind of miracle.

I'm not sure I would take The Donald's advise on much.....making a fortune, even 3-4 times, is not so hard. By his record it is a lot harder to keep one.
