Honda Mechanic - 10-24-2008, 09:25 AM

I own a 1997 Honda Civic. And i am looking for a mechanic that i can trust. I live in the Heights area. Do you know one that you would recommend???

There is a clanking noise coming from my front driver-side tire. You can only hear it when you first accelarate, driving at a constant speed or deccelarate. (It doesnt clank or click when doing a sharp turn). Sort of like a busted u-joint...??

Know anyone?!

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Jorge

C&M Honda are awesome out 59 South on Murphy Rd. Might be further than you want to travel, but Craig&Mark (C&M) are ex-Honda guys who I've used for > 10 years.281.498.6364

Thanks the OP & Deana, I was in need of something similar and live close to this place. I might have to pay them a visit next time. I assume they should be able to fix Toyota as well?

HCS Automotive, used to be HondaCar Shop, but they now work on Toyota as well. The owners were long time Honda mechanics before opening their dealership.

3602 Dunvale Road (Just South of Richmond Avenue between Hillcroft and Fondren.

Too bad you don't live in DFW.... My husband is a Honda Certified Mechanic and we sure could use the extra cash.

I second this recommendation of C&M Honda. I've known both Craig and Mark for many many years. Very straight shooting shop, fair pricing, excellent work. I've never had a complaint. I've recommended them before on this forum.

Tell em longhair Frank sent ya!
