Arlington Camera AMAZING Customer Service

I went in to Arlington Camera this morning with cash in hand, ready to buy a few new items I 'thought' I needed to get better photographs. I was fortunate to have Rick help me and got much more that what I 'thought' I needed. After I explained to him what I wanted to be able to do, he showed me how do it with what I already owned. He took about 35 minutes with me, showing me no fewer than five different options of equipment that might serve me better (and less expensive), even going outside with the equipment and demonstrating how I could use it for best results. When I told him that he was talking himself out of a sale today, his response was simply..."that's alright, you'll be back when you're ready to buy again. He was exactly right. I've shopped at other Dallas area "competitive" camera shops in the past, but I am SO GLAD I stopped at Arlington Camera this morning.

We need to support stores like Arlington Camera that get it right when it comes to BOTH price and customer service. Its a little bit of a drive for me, but I will most definitely be making that trek every time I need something from now on. Way to go Rick and Arlington Camera. Keep up the good work.

Agreed! After my fiasco with Adorama, I bought my 50D at Arlington Camera & they were great! No "high pressure" sales tactics - just good, knowledgeable people that helped me get what I needed!

100%. Arlington camera has been great, on so many accounts.

One warning tho, Rick is too good if you talk to him, you'll go broke.
Just joking. Honestly, he is great, and will usually find a cheaper option for exactly what you wanting, but you're prob not walking out empty handed.

Is Rick the tall, clean-shaven, white-haired guy? If it is, I agree. He's always been very helpful whenever I've dealt with him.

Just to add another....I love Arlington Camera, everyone in there is always helpful and well informed. They'll give you all the time and help you need and their knowledge and suggestions are spot on.
