I fell down the stair last Thursday night. I twisted my ankle really god and went to hosptial. Lucky no broken bones. So the doctor give me a brace and clutches. Somehow two days later, I get calf cramp, not from at night time but I think it's caused twisted ankle. Is that possible? I have this cramp for straight 5 days now. What should I do now? I don't know what to do but I feel like giving up my life because I am so much in pain! My foot is still swollen so now it's been a week. It is driving me insane. Would be nice if any of you know about this? Thanks! --------------------------- I am hearing impaired......I know I am not perfect but I am ABLE! |

Go back to the hospital. You should not be in that much pain. Something is wrong and needs to be attended to. Take care. |

Ekk. I am afraid something wrong. I mean I Just had hand surgery two months ago and now this problem that took me off work alot. When I had my hand surgery I took a month off and went back like a month now but now look like I am taking more days off. This is sucks. I will go to clinic tonight once my roommate get home and take me there and let you all know about it the results. I hope nothing serious. --------------------------- I am hearing impaired......I know I am not perfect but I am ABLE! |

Kelly, not to scare you but a leg cramp can be a signal of a very serious issue, especially so soon after a related injury. One of the more serious is a blood clot.
