Where do you guys send your sports photos? - 10-31-2008, 02:54 AM

I've always photographed professional teams / aircraft for pilots / and random art prints, but recently I was offered a gig shooting a local sports little league team. I don't have much experience dealing with the photo organizing / printing, most of my work is sold directly to franchises or individuals and they print it as they wish. Never actually had to deal with high volume packages, etc. for clients. I normally use FullColor, but their online system is just a gigantic pain in the butt for sports. I'd like to know if there is any websites or companies out there that offer a place to upload samples, have parents choose what they want and the printer sends it directly to them, I'd rather not deal with it after I take the photos. Anyone care to share their experience?

I don't have any experience with them yet, but I shoot some smaller church basketball leagues, and recently found out about Pounds. They will package each order for free, and I intend to use them this next season.

Pounds? Do they take care of things like I was saying? Really excited to figure this out.

Photoreflect.com will do what you are looking for. It's free to use, but they take a cut of whatever you make. The upside is they take credit cards and handle all the work for you. You setup your photoreflect account to use a particular print company and such.

I believe SmugMug.com does the same but costs money upfront.

Printroom is a pretty popular site with some awesome customizations and uploading/organization software, but some stay away from it because of their membership prices. I've had nothing but positive replies from customers using it.
