Awesome. The one thing that keeps me from getting a tattoo is having to get it REDONE...yikes

Wow. That is some awesome fading effects and brilliant use of color. It's going to look fantastic when it's finished!

It's great the way he blended the new with the old.
I never understood why a tat, but it looks like a good one if that's your pleasure.

Supposedly, the newer inks are less likely to fade, so unless your shark takes a swim in the wrong place it's probably going to look good longer than the previous one. Tattoo tech has apparently come a long way. So has the hygiene of the process as well!

Absolutely true. Once he's finished, I don't anticipate getting this one done again. Maybe more, but this one is good

I can totally attest to this. I have a tattoo on my inner right forearm that is close to 8 years old, and people all the time think I just recently got it.
Colors are still as bright as the day I got it.

Very cool, man. I would love to get re-done on my ankle tattoo that I want color on it but sadly I can't since I am on blood clot. GRRR This sucks.

I have one on my ankle that is almost 15 years old that still looks great. I just make sure to keep it out of direct sunlight and use lots of sunblock when I am in the sun. The only color I have lost is the white, but they say that is the hardest pigment to make permanent.

I have on several occasions been diving with sharks. I've been in the water with hammerheads, makos, blues, leopards, and of course nurse sharks. Off the coast of San Diego, CA I did a cage dive and have ever since been fascinated with the top predator of the sea. One day I hope to go to Baja or South Africa and do a cage dive with great whites.

As a confessed adrenaline junkie, the thrill of seeing one of these animals up close is about as close to heaven as I'm likely to get here on earth. Well maybe a base jump would get close, but I still think the great white would be tops.
