It's now been down two weeks and I seriously doubt it will be coming back.

It's sad to see what was once one of the best glamour photography sites slip into the ether. The software change started the long decline and the loss of Roger Smith was pretty much the death blow.

Scott with your background and with your glamour expertise I suggest you investigate starting a similar site ....
A lot of work for sure, but there might be a profit and some satisfaction ?

Then I invite you to join http://www.modeloverdrive.com, That is where Rolando hangs out now! You can be my friend. Forum is not running yet, it is still in beta but the rest works good and we have 479 members in about two weeks with a week of that we were beta testing and not open to the public.

Please tell me why modeloverdrive will be any different from the litany of other disjointed web sites that Rolando has started in the last 12 months? Shotcritic, TFCDPhoto, and a couple others I can't even remember have been pretty blah in terms of content and membership. The strong membership and contribution that GG had at one time has soured and scattered to the wind.

I wish Rolando all the luck with his new ventures, and I hope they succeed, but for now, I'm tired of chasing the rabbit down the hole...

Perhaps I spoke too soon...

It appears that Glamour1 has morphed back into GarageGlamour with yet another new skin and underlying forum engine.

Only time will tell if the vital organ transplant is successful.

I personally stopped frequenting those forums a couple of years ago. I got the email about the switch back to GG too...
