Pre-shoot, do you have any wierd preparations? - 11-07-2008, 09:09 PM

I've got a shoot tomorrow in Ft. Worth. Right now its friday night -pay day at that. It just hit me that I am choosing to sit in the house over heading out to party so that I can mentally prepare for tomorrow. I'm visualizing the shots I want and the strategy for shooting them. I'm sitting here laughing at myself because its almost like I'm isolating myself from the public while sitting in the film room preparing for a game

Any of you have any strange things or habits you engage in prior to a shoot?

Before I shoot anything, I have to make sure that my Smurfette (2 inch plastic toys that Leslie, Todd and Brad C. and I got in NOLA in 2006) is in my camera bag! I also make sure that before I shoot a wedding, that I have a sausage and cheese biscuit!

Very good advice. Makes it kinda hard to hold a camera still if you're doing the gotta pee dance, but can't leave because you would miss an important shot. I've been there

I get nude, paint my body with blue wode and run withershins nine times around a fir tree in the yard at midnight. Never miss a shot by doing that
