When I first posted this about a year ago TPFers found about $4,800 of theirs or their relatives.

If you haven't checked for lost funds - do it. Check for relatives and friends too. You just never know.

Here is the site: www.unclaimed.org It links you to all the state entities responsible for lost property.

Good hunting. If you get lucky, post your results.

I found an insurance check that I wold have sworn I put in the bank. It was for over $5K.

The check was written in 1999. I recovered it in 2001 and definitely put it in the bank then. Used the money to buy my first digital camera.

nothing for me BUT for my hubby about $425 hehehe I am printing claims.. some is from University of Houston from 1997 lol.. saince I am doing the homework he says is mine lmao....
I wonder how long it takes? I been getting lucky... I did some reasearch last week on some bills and Reliant which we are not using owed us like $400 and they sent us the check which I got to keep to thanks to hubby saying I did the work lol
