Thumbs up Don't Forget the Veteran's Families - 11-10-2008, 12:17 PM

I for one think that we need to remember all the Veteran's Families on Veterans Day also. My wife of 36 years spent 17 of those years with my ugly butt in the Navy. She raised the kids, payed the bills, played Dad, disciplined, handled puberty for 3 daughters and complained very little.

SO I WANT TO GIVE MY DEEPEST THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE MILITARY SPOUSES THAT ARE ON THIS FORUM.

THANK YOU

Gordon Bennett

It doesn't need to b a designated Veterans Day You can do it every day if you want to. That's what us Veterans do.... You just may make some grumpy old mean looking person SMILE.

Have a Great Day

Gordon

I always loved the fact that military spouses were recognized at our change of command or retirement ceremonies when I was in the Corps. They are definitely a support group of their own.
