MS Outlook/iPhone question - 11-18-2008, 01:26 PM

I have my iPhone synced to my desktop home PC. Using MS Outlook 2007 I have my personal contacts and calendar appointments on the iPhone. Simple enough. I want to do the same thing at work. There are few problems.

1. With out a hack, you cannot sync the iPhone on two different PCs.
2. Cannot install any software onto work PC.
3. Work will not sync my personal phone using MS Exchange.

Is there a way to export my MS Outlook 2003 calendar appointments so I can add them to my home PC?

Sonny, Will the Mobile Me application not do that?I know it costs some money, but it seems like it will allow you to do what you want... i haven't added it to my service yet..but wasn't sure you knew about it..

I have not looked into that option yet, Rusty. The IT department has our systems pretty well locked down. No exporting .pst files, no MS Exchange on personal phones, and no loading software on company PCs (I can understand this one).

On a good note, the tech guys did say he'll try to find a work around...so we'll wait and see.

exporting a pst of your calendar is a very easy operation. If you are friends with anyone in the it department you might ask them if they can export your "calendar" folder to a pst for you, so that they have data control when they give it to you.

found a quick link. It won't export everything, just the stuff in the folder you select.
