So has anyone got the boutique packaging they now offer? On a whim I decided I'd try it out - since I was only ordering 8x10s and smaller I got the envelopes - but this type of packaging is what I've been looking for.

See, I want to use something similar for handing my prints to clients - the problem is is that I cannot find anywhere the kinds of envelopes they use. The metallic cardboard style - similar to what you would expect a wedding invitation to come in and such.

Does anyone have any ideas on where to find them? I like the traditional black, but since our business name is Silver Pixels Photography, I'd prefer if the envelopes/boxes (although I was thinking something offbeat like aqua color for boxes as a contrasting color, wrapped with a gunmetal grey ribbon) were a gunmetal grey like mpix offer. See, in order to get the packaging through mpix I would have to place a seperate order per client to get those envelopes, and I don't particularly want to do that, so I was hoping to find out if there are any places that would sell these. I've tried the usual avenues like TAP etc, but they don't have what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

i've had the same problem. i started looking at jewelry box distributors. they have black ones that are thin (1" high) but the largest they went to was an 8X8 - so I couldnt stuff 8x10's in there. i quit researching, but i may pick it up again. google: designer photo mailers and see what comes up?
