Janice and I lived in SoCal for several years. While there, the Laguna Hills wildfire burned across the valley from where we lived. I was never as close as some of the photos but we did have them as close as across the road from our subdivision. The power of a fire, fueled by more dry brush than you can imagine and 50-100MPH winds, is a very scary thing. From a distance, they're beautiful to an artists eye but up close and personal they are an ugly beast. --------------------------- Poor focus behind the camera creates as many bad photos as poor focus through the camera! |
