I went shopping today. BAD MOVE SPORTSFANS! The traffic in Selma was insane at the Forum, fortunately for me, I decided to park far far away from Best Buy. Since I was on a seek and acquire mission, I knew what I wanted was able to grab the first salesdroid I saw, get what I needed, pay my cash, and leave. But Holy Brocolli Batman, it was insane, Target had an almost water like flow of people in and out of it. So I came home much poorer, but my Christmas shopping for the family 100% finished, so I am DONE shopping for this year.

At least it doesn't sound like you or your fellow shoppers stomped and killed some poor employee where you were. I saw on the news that some Wal Mart employee in NY was killed by a surging crowd. Now seriously, what does anyone need at a Walmart (or anywhere for that matter) that anyone has to die in the process?

According to many people on this forum, the customer is always right, and you must do everything possible to make them happy. If you have to sacrifice one employee to expedite the customer, so be it.

I agree with ttusa. No shopping for me on Black Friday. Congratulations on getting it all done. One of my friends wanted me to go shopping with them today, said no. We had decided to drive up to the Bestbuy in our are on Thanksgiving night. Would you believe people camped out in order to get a ticket with a without any guarantee the item will be in stock? One guy even had a portable stove, and sleeping bag. Absolutely amazing.

I'm not sure what time it was, but it rained like a $!t&# this morning. All I could manage to half-dream was that I felt sorry for those folks who camped out in lines. I went out today to try & do some shopping for the family but only managed to bring more stuff for me. I did the same thing on monday...& ended up grabbin a 50in plasma. I suck at shoppiong for other people.

Well, I bought a 42" LCD today... at the crowded dell.com!

I went to get breakfast and saw Target right next to it so thought I would drop in. Found a quick parking spot, walked in, got what I needed, walked right up to the register and paid and left. No problems here... just staying away from the mall!

I don't shop on Black Friday either. The kids and I always set up the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving.

my cousin drags me out every year and every year I want to kill her more and more. I'm usually done with my shopping within 45 minutes of arriving and looking for what it is I want. She however, has to decide if thats what she wants, call her husband and wake him up to get his input about a billion times and so forth. And it sucks that the past 2 years she's been pregnant too. I should learn to tell her NO.
