Typical for the society we live in today. I hate Black Fridays and simply refuse to go anywhere a store on that day. But let's put some of the spotlight back on Wal-Mart, the police indicated that they could have done more to prevent this tragedy.

Sure, blame the store. Had nothing to do with the crazed idiots fighting to grab the Batman toy for $5 off.

It should not take the police for people to behave themselves. They were CHRISTMAS SHOPPING, and in order to get their "big discount", they tore down the doors and killed a man.

I hope they all have a very Merry Christmas.

This is completely ridiculous. All of them are to blame, but how is it we've gotten to the point that a sale can drive us to this kind of behavior? It's just completely saddening.

Why don't public officials take this opportunity to remind the public of the shame of using sales and their own personal greed to place themselves and others in grave peril like this? We picked up the same fliers and watched the same ads and did not feel the need to tear doors from their hinges, stampede other human beings, and I've lost track of all the unwarranted affronts to civility!

Senseless to take a life or a Bargain....
Stores should share some burden. Advertising bargains at a certain number of hours equal tragedy.

had the Police taken action, then society would be crying that the Police used too much force....... for protecting a "sale" not a person.
