My bet is that anything that is decent when you view it on a forum is fair game

I grabbed one of my Bosque images, did some tweaking and then reduced from 5616 x 3744 @300ppi to 800 x 533 L5 JPG @ 61.9k. Here it is...

Name: Goose_0W2W3764.jpg
Views: 157
Size: 46.6 KB

I ran it through Genuine Fractals 6 and I could easily get a decent 8 x 12 out of this thing I don't have a printer so I can't test it rigorously but it's not looking good for the home team...

I'm using Genuine Fractals 5 and love it.

I bought GF5 late enough that they gave me a GF6 upgrade. It's a great program. I've payed around with upsizing 2.5x, sharpening, downsize back to original, process, etc... the results are pretty good. Better than sharpening small...

GF is pretty amazing...

Weimar needs a Photo Lab. I wonder where the closest one would be? Maybe Bastrop?
Because when I move out there I'd sure like to know where I can go. Well, that may be a while yet unless I win the lottery to build my log cabin out at my property.
I sure like the way the water is running off of him/her.

The other thing to think about, most stolen photos aren't even being printed. They are being used on other websites, or in online advertising. Most of the recent thefts I've heard of are fly by night website designers hired to put up websites. Slap some photos up there that you don't have to pay royalties for, and you've increased your profit margin.
I've been putting my copyright info in the corners of the photo, like you. But I've noticed some folks are now watermarking right across the center if they post anything online. Probably the best solution right now.

I used to think that way but I can delete just about anything I want to from and image with little to no artifacts and I pretty much suck at Photoshop... There is no protection ( I just heard a voice in my head say "There is no spoon" )
