Camera phones

I love my SE 5MP phone. Sure, the photo quality doesn't match my Canon gear but like others have said, I always have my phone on me. And it has been useful in concerts too.

That said, I was in a place with some sweet access earlier this year, surrounded by pro guys and weighed down with my camera gear. When a big aircraft formation flew overhead for the second time I decided to video it with my phone so I could capture the sound of all those engines. Boy, did this cause some disbelief and mirth...

(Maybe I should get one of the new Canons with video for next year, eh?! ;-) )

It's one thing to take pictures on a cell phone. It's another to never move them off to your computer, and try and display them to your friends on that little 2" square screen. That's what I hate. You're talking to somebody about cars, kids, cats, whatever; and they pull out their phone to show you a picture. I can't see ****e on those little screens. I just kinda nod my head and mutter unhhuh.
