Interesting. The only card I have had fail on me ever has been a Lexar.
Wasn't aware of their free data recovery service... But there wasn't anything major on that card and it's been several years ago.
Now with SD cards.. I pretty much hate the build quality and have experienced breakage in the spacers (between pins) on all sorts of brands. Not a big fan of SD.
